Al’s Project Completed in the summer of 2024, Al’s project is a remarkable transformation that showcases our commitment to innovative solutions and high-quality craftsmanship. Using Timbertech composite materials in the elegant Foggy Wharf and Coastal Bluff colors, this project not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the space but also addresses the unique challenges presented by a heavily sloped yard. One of the standout features of this project is the integrated retaining wall, which works harmoniously with the deck to create a retained portion of land. This design allows for a grass area that sits flush with the deck, seamlessly transitioning to a lower landscaped area. By collaborating closely with our landscaper (Luke’s design and Build), we effectively utilized the slope to create two distinct levels, maximizing the usability of the outdoor space while providing a visually pleasing environment. In addition to the deck, Al also commissioned us to build a Fortress-style fence that complements the overall design. The deck features sleek black aluminum 5/8 railing, providing both safety and a modern touch, while a custom-built black steel grate elegantly covers the window well, enhancing functionality without sacrificing style. The composite skirting completes the look, ensuring a polished finish. Once our work on the deck and fence was complete, the landscaper returned to beautifully finish the yard, adding the final touches that made this outdoor space truly come alive. Al’s excitement about the outcome speaks volumes about the success of this project. It was an enjoyable experience for our team, tackling the unique challenges and collaborating to bring Al’s vision to life.
