This project stands out as one of our favourites to date, showcasing the perfect blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal. We constructed a massive 42’x20’ composite deck finished with Fiberon Bungalow, providing a stunning foundation for outdoor enjoyment. Overhead, a grand 42’x20’ pressure-treated pergola creates an inviting atmosphere, offering shade and style for gatherings. One of the most striking features of this build is the unique cascading stair set, which consists of four 5’x6’ landings that gradually shift to the side as they descend to the existing cement pad. This thoughtful design not only enhances functionality but also adds a dynamic visual element to the outdoor space. With 40 lights installed in the rises of each step on both ends of the deck, along with another step leading onto the platform by the rear doors of the house, our team had a full plate of planning and wiring to ensure everything was executed flawlessly. This project, like many others, was made possible through our valued partnership with Spruce It Up Garden Centre. We take great pride in collaborating with their team to bring innovative designs to life. Following our construction, they came in to complete the landscaping around the deck, set up the hot tub pad, and add decorative touches that beautifully tie the entire project together. The end result is a magnificent outdoor space that not only meets our client’s needs but also serves as a stunning backdrop for memorable moments.
