Following a fantastic experience with YYC Builders on his previous projects—a large deck built around his fire pit and a mezzanine in both his shop and place of business—Shawn returned to us for another exciting undertaking: redoing the very large deck around his cabin. Having previously constructed the deck with sturdy framing, our scope of work focused on resurfacing and reusing the existing framework that was still in good condition. While much of the original structure was retained, we took on the task of rebuilding the stair sets surrounding the deck, ensuring they were both inviting and functional. The new stair sets, designed to be three deck boards wide, create a welcoming access point to the expansive outdoor space. This massive deck project was not only a significant undertaking but also a joy for our team to build. Shawn and his family are absolutely thrilled with the final outcome, and the sense of satisfaction in creating such a beautiful space is immeasurable. An added highlight of this project was the personal touch brought by Jared, the owner of YYC Builders, who brought his daughter out to the site one day. This gesture strengthened the relationship between Jared and Shawn, as Shawn warmly invited them to enjoy the beauty of the property in the country. The collaboration and camaraderie fostered during this project made it even more special, and we look forward to potentially working with Shawn on future endeavors. The successful completion of this deck not only enhances Shawn’s cabin but also solidifies the trust and rapport built over multiple projects. Shawn’s project part two is a testament to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and we are proud of the wonderful results achieved.
