Brent’s project highlights the joy of working with repeat customers, showcasing the trust and satisfaction we’ve built over the years. We first constructed a beautiful deck in the backyard of their home in 2020 and returned in the spring of 2021 to create a charming smaller deck out front. For this project, the clients chose one of our top-selling composite materials: Coconut Husk by TimberTech, paired with Dark Hickory trim by Azek. This combination not only looks stunning but also provides durability and low maintenance for years to come. In the backyard, we designed a spacious outdoor living area featuring a generous 20’x10’ main deck, complemented by an upper deck that extends down the side of the home, where they added a small shed for convenient storage. We thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of blending different deck heights, creating seamless stair sets that connect both the backyard and the front deck. This thoughtful design enhances the flow of the space and captures the eye with its elegant transitions. The result is another happy YYC Builders customer, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how this project turned out.
